Sylvia Stocker nominated for award with Robo-Trial
The FemBizSwiss Award of the Global Digital Women (GDW) organisation (both links are in German) has set itself the task of honouring female founders who are helping to shape the future of the country with their digital projects. The platform is intended to support these female founders in achieving more reach and therefore more impact on an international level as well. Why? Digitalisation and Innovation need more of the great work of women and their visions.
Sylvia Stocker is nominated for the IT & Tech category with the Robo-Trial project. This category stands for women who are strongly committed and thus stir up the seemingly male domain of IT and digital technologies. The award in this category is sponsored by Accenture.
Sylvia Stocker is the Founder and CEO of Arabesque as well as global speaker on Robotics & Artificial Intelligence (AI). She draws from a wealth of experience in robotics, business and the performing arts. Previously, she worked in New York, Paris, London and Barcelona.
Besides her fascination with robots and human-machine interaction, Sylvia loves to explore the exponential mindset, meditation, sports and design. She holds a BSc in Economics from CEIBS and an altMBA from Seth Godin.
Seth Godin’s virtual MBA further education has strongly influenced Sylvia in terms of virtual international collaboration, learning methods and digital tools and was the starting point for her passion for robotics and artificial intelligence. Today, her job is to advise companies on the use of robots and AI. These robots are mainly used in hotels, hospitals, nursing homes and retail, in close proximity to people.
