In its 100th anniversary year, the Swiss Employees Association brought a future scenario into the house for its members by accepting the social robot Pepper as an official member of the association. The social robot Pepper introduced himself to the managing director Stefan Studer and was then accepted as a member of the association in an official speech.

We are proud to be the first workers’ association in the world to accept a robot as a member. Our members were fascinated! For the young, digital-savvy people, we have set an example as a modern association. We are ahead of the times and anticipate the trend in the world of work.
